Alex is AMAZING! We used her services for our July 3rd wedding in Portsmuth NH and she was fabulous. My husband and I not only loved her but got so many compliments from our guests about how non-intrusive she was, but she was still was able to capture amazing shots. Alex also was able to edit and put some of our pictures up just 2 days after our wedding! We can not say enough about Alex! I cant tell you how many people came up to me and got her information from us. Just two weeks after our wedding, two guests have already booked her. Alex was the best photographer to work with. We felt so comfortable around her and i honestly felt like we have known each other for years. She definitely showered her experience and knowledge with having to deal with the rainy weather and forcing to have all our wedding photos in doors. Being from Massachusetts and having our wedding north of Boston we were somewhat unique in having selected a wedding photographer from Southern Maine, but after meeting with several local photographers, we immediately knew choosing Alex was a no-brainer. Not only is Alex incredibly reasonably-priced and willing to travel outside of the state of Maine, she is one of the most amazing wedding photographers I’ve ever come across.From the moment we met Alex we knew we were in good hands. Not only is she incredibly detail-oriented, which is extremely refreshing and reassuring during the craziness of planning a wedding, she also makes you feel so comfortable that you almost forget you’re being photographed. I can’t even count the number of compliments we have received on our wedding pictures, some from people we haven’t seen in years. To quote one friend, “she is amazing by-the-way, worth every penny and more!”.We were thrilled to have Alex as our photographer and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer in Maine or outside of the state.

Alex was in a word, wonderful. She was professional, but fun and so unobtrusive on the day of the wedding that we hardly knew she was there! I loved that the engagement shoot was included in her fee - it allowed Sam and I to have a practice run, but I also think it was good for Alex to get to know us a little. The photos are amazing, and I can't even tell you how many people have said so too!

Alex was our photographer for our Wedding and reception and she was fabulous! We had such a wonderful time at our wedding and love reliving every minute through the pictures Alex and her assistant, Leslie, took. They both did an amazing job of capturing not only special moments and highlights of the day, but also the mood. The formal photographs were stunning, but some of my favorites are the candid shots. We met Alex before the wedding for a mini-engagement shoot. Getting to know her and work with her ahead of time really made a huge difference. When she arrived on the wedding day, it felt like we were incorporating another friend into the wedding not just a photographer. Not only did she make my husband and I feel comfortable, but she fit in with our friends and family seamlessly. By mixing in with the wedding party she was able to catch amazing candid photographs that would never have been possible otherwise. When I look through the photographs, it is exciting to see my favorite memories of the day, but it is also fun to see all the things I missed. Some of my favorite pictures are the ones of my husband and the groomsmen getting ready. Looking through those pictures, I feel like I was there. Also, seeing pictures of friends and family who had never even met before chatting, dancing, and laughing together is priceless. I can't thank Alex enough for being a part of our wedding and for not only taking amazing photographs, but for capturing the joy of the day.

Alex did the photography for our engagement shoot and wedding at Pineland Farms in Maine. She is fantastic! The photos all came out amazing and she has an eye for things that no one else would ever think of. Highly recommendend!!!

Where to begin? Alex is professional, talented, organized and poised. Yet, somehow she has this presence about her that makes you feel like you have known her for years...or even that you wish you had. My husband and I are not very comfortable in front of the camera, thank goodness for our included engagement session with Alex a few months before the wedding - this was like a well needed practice run for us. It was really nice to learn from her what was expected from us and how to be more comfortable in front of the lens. By the time our wedding day approached, we didn't even realize we were in front of the camera most of the time. Alex felt like any other guest and most of the time we didn't even realize she was there. She's not afraid to ask a little of you for a great shot...like having me hike in a pair of 4 inch heels up some huge rocks on the beach for an awesome shot of our entire wedding party over the water. What a great shot that turned out to be. I didn't cry at the wedding (except during my sister/MOH's speech) but I can tell you I have already shed some tears just looking through the photos Alex took of our day. Her photos truly capture the moment and allow you to relive it. The wedding day flew by so fast and there were so many moments and details that I had already forgotten about...looking through the photos Alex took of us allows us to really soak it all in. Her work is amazing. If you are looking for more than the traditional posed shots and really want someone that can capture the details with shots that tell a story, then Alex is your gal. Oh...not to mention the fact that we already had a gallery of 250 photos available to view online less than a week after the wedding! Alex, if you are reading. You are truly talented and your photos will be treasured by us forever. Thank you so much!

Alex was recommended to us, and as soon as we saw her website we knew which photographer we wanted to go with. Alex has a wonderful eye for detail, and for capturing the entire scene and mood of the day. She is extremely easy to work with, and we couldn’t be happier with the final product. I can not say enough about Alex! I knew within moments of meeting her that she would be our photographer. A few of the biggest selling points for us, besides her amazing work, was unlimited hours of shooting on our wedding day and flexibility to take some atypical wedding photos. She is professional, timely, and super fun to work with. We loved that she brought her assistant, leslie, who was also fantastic, for our wedding... they captured every moment flawlessly. We are so grateful!

We are 100% pleased and could not be happier that we chose Alex as our wedding photographer. She is poised, professional and incredibly talented. As soon as I met Alex I felt completely confident in her ability to capture our wedding. I was able to relax the day of our wedding because I knew I was in good hands. My husband is camera shy and is often uncomfortable kissing, holding hands etc in front of others. Alex was able to calm his nerves, teach both of us a few "modeling" tricks, and help us feel comfortable in front of the camera which produced beautiful and natural pictures. Her photojournalistic style really captured the mood, and essence of our wedding. Family and friends who could not make the trip have told us they felt like they were in attendance just by looking at the photos. Our wedding weekend flew by in a second, and at times I still have to pinch myself and ask myself, did it really happen? Looking at Alex's photos of our day, each day, reminds me that our dream come true wedding really did happen.

I can not say enough good things about Alex. Living in Florida and trying to prepare for a wedding in Maine was a very big chore, but Alex was very quick to respond to an e-mails with questions or concerns. On the day of the wedding we barely even knew she was there, but somehow manage to take fantastic shots of everything. I would highly recommend Alex to anyone who is looking for a talented, creative, and fun wedding photographer.

Alex was amazing to work with for our wedding in June 2010! We initially chose her because we loved how she incorporated formal and informal pictures throughout as we wanted formal pictures of ourselves and our families, but also some fun pictures as well (Alex will definitely listen and work with you to incorporate the fun pictures you want as well). Alex is very easy-going, friendly and approachable which translated into really wonderful, special pictures of us and our family and friends on our special day. Her assistant was also really great to work with as well. Throughout the whole process from our initial meeting, engagement photos, and the wedding day Alex was always extremely organized and on top of everything. Her flexibility was also appreciated on our wedding day as we had a change to our back-up location at the last minute due to rain. We also loved that we got all of our wedding pictures within 2 weeks after our wedding on CDs in high resolution and low resolution(for quick and easy uploading online). Overall, we (and our parents) were all very happy and impressed with the quality of our wedding photos and Alex's professionalism. We would definitely recommend Alex very highly!!

Alex is tremendous! She is an amazingly gifted photographer who clearly loves what she does. As soon as we met her, we knew we wanted Alex to photograph our wedding. She is so cool, hip, and down to earth. From our initial meeting, to the engagement shoot, to the actual wedding day, Alex was a ton of fun to work with. She made the whole process so easy. She listened to us, provided great tips and advice, and took the most amazing pictures. The morning of our wedding it was pouring rain. Alex and her assistant arrived early because after watching the weather all morning they thought there was going to be a break in the rain so we could get the outdoor shots we were so hoping to have. During the ceremony and reception, Alex, took the most amazing pictures. She was everywhere, capturing all the details we worked so hard on, without being the least bit intrusive. It was like she and her assistant were guests at the wedding but with really nice cameras. We feel very fortunate that Alex was our wedding photographer and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding, or any other event.

Alex was amazing! The price included an engagment shoot and 12 hours of photography on our wedding. She edited 254 pictures and sent those to us on a disc as well as all of the proofs of the pictures she took on the wedding day. She is a photojournalist style photographer which was exactly what we wanted. She has a fabulous eye for detail. She made both my husband I feel extremely comfortable and made the whole experience fun. I could go on and on about Alex, but I should simply say I highly recommend her as a wedding photographer!

Alex photographed our wedding for us and we are incredibly pleased with the photos. She and her co-photographer blended right in during the ceremony and the reception and seemed to be just some more guests! Even during the posed shoots, she seemed totally relaxed, yet made sure to get the shots we needed. She captured moments that we had no idea about until getting the photos. She really caught the moments! It is awesome to have all the copyrights to the images. This means that we can print off pictures whenever we wish, upload them to our computer, and make copies of the CDs for family so that they too may enjoy the photos. The photos from our wedding even made it into Downeast magazine. Alex does a great job. I really searched around for photographers and you really do get a great deal with her. You get two very professional photographers that stay for the entire event, an album of photos that Alex puts together for you, CDs of all your photos, and the copyrights to over 800 photos! We are very pleased with the job that she did and would highly recommend her.

Alex was extremely professional and willing to accomodate every request. She came to the salon while we had our hair done in the morning...and she was at the reception until the very end that night! She is amazing! The pictures are absolutely beautiful, we could not be happier. She recreated the entire day from the sign on the door of the salon through the very last dance. She is truly an artist, and we will treasure the moments that she captured for the rest of our lives. We would use her again in a heartbeat!!

After searching for months for an affordable and talented photographer, my wife and I were referred to Alexandra C. Daley-Clark Photography. To put our photographic needs in perspective, a few very close friends of ours are themselves professional photographers with whom we've worked with for years. However, owing to their desire to attend - and not work - our wedding, we hewed to a high hurdle for photographic talent without compromising entirely on price. So, without adieu, I will highlight how pleased we were with Alex and her service.Firstly, Alex's personality is as befitting a "Mainer" as could be asked for; she's lighthearted, affable, easy to engage with, and fun. But don't let that fool you, her professionalism is unparalleled. She's able to use her charm to put you at ease for the usually awkward photo shoot (even for you budding grooms). She is prompt, responsive, incredibly efficient (those who've worked with slow photographers will appreciate this), and replete with plain English contracts for her services (nothing hidden). Most important of course is the quality of her work and her talent. This is where Alex distinguishes herself from the competition. Given her experience in photojournalism, she harnesses that style to capture real-time emotion while showing her mastery of light and technique (both in color and black and white) that will leave you with photographs that will never age; her style is timeless. But she knows that everyone needs to have the �requisite family photo� at the wedding, and expedites this process effectively - adeptly managing/coordinating myriad family members - and saved my wife (and thus me) plenty of headache on our wedding day.What is most compelling about Alex is that you get all of this at a value price. Alex's wedding package includes an engagement shoot (used as an introductory meeting; an ingenious way to break the ice) and she provides full ownership of all pictures to you (both engagement and wedding day shots; something you rarely see, especially at her price point). She only performs a dozen weddings a year, so she's able to turn around the photos quickly (ours came by the time we got back from our honeymoon) and she's able to concentrate on screening the 1,000+ for the best shots, which helps when your respective families are clamoring to see them. And....yes, I'm not done...she is complemented by a talented prot�g� and both were available to us for the entire day. This enabled them to capture the day from both my side (groom/groomsmen preparation) and my wife's point of view (bride/bridesmaids preparation). As I've been advised before and can attest to today, the only real mistake you can make on your wedding day (aside from not showing up), is to short change yourself and not hire the most competent and talented photographer to document this day in your life. I, frankly, never write reviews, but in Alex's case I was compelled to, and you should look no further. I can't say enough about Alex and her competency. Her photographic talent speaks for itself, and for those other areas - professionalism, value, and quality - I have spoken through experience. Good luck in your search�but I think you can stop now!

My husband and I hired Alexandra to photograph us for our wedding announcements. (We eloped, but if we'd had a traditional wedding, we would certainly have hired her to shoot it!) We were thrilled with the experience. She was friendly and professional. We weren't used to being in the spotlight, but she quickly made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, and the photos looked great. In fact, the only difficult part about the whole experience was deciding which of the wonderful shots to select for the announcement!
