Classic Photographers

We loved working with our photographer Andrew K. The package we got "just photography" was VERY affordable and just what we needed. We already saw the proofs online and they came out great!! Just because it was affordable there is no skimping on the quality of work that was provided. We had a great experience!

*I haven't gotten final photos back yet, so this review is based soley on working with them prior to and during the wedding, not the finished photos. My rate for "Quality of Service" is only a 3 because of that.* We booked with Classic Photographers mainly because they were the most affordable photographers I could find in the Boston area and they had decent reviews. Jeremiah was incredibly helpful and responsive during booking process and afterwards. Any questions I had he answered right away. He helped us pay the final balance in advance and gave us a discount since we did. Our photographer was Andrew and he was great and easy to work with. He was on time and easy to be around. He listened to our ideas for photos and helped us when we didn't know what to do. His assistant made sure I reapplied my lipgloss when needed and fixed my train to look nice for every photo. He was flexible when we asked to take photos outside (had planned on only taking indoor photos since it was March, but then it ended up being sunny and 75 degrees that day!). Jeremiah was easy to work with and quickly responded to my many questions. Classic allows you to use a payment plan without having any fees. We were surprised with a second shooter (at no cost) who did an amazing job (Steven I think his name was) Jill was our primary photographer and she did a great job, some of our pictures are a little blurry and some of the group shots there are people cut out. I chose my venue for some of its rustic features and with the rush around (guests arriving early and us running late) we forgot to requst some pictures I really wanted (grand staircase/piano/Pianist we hired) and would have liked her to suggest them. Overall I'm happy with my photos, I have over 1100 to choose from. I would suggest making a list of must haves (not just the week of your wedding...like this slacker) so you don't forget any!

While planning a wedding can be quite stressful, Classic Photographers made the photography aspect quite simple. Naturally, I constantly had questions, but got a prompt and thorough personalized response back each time. I ended up going with Andrew K. as my main photographer and he was amazing to work with. While always being the professional, he still made it very easy to feel comfortable in front of the camera. All of my guests loved him as well! The finished products were amazing, but I was mostly impressed with my wedding album. I was involved with it every step of the way (though there wasn't much I needed to change from the original draft) and I couldn't have expected anything more from the final result. Not only do I recommend them to my friends that are getting married, but I too will use them in the future for any of my photography needs.

PEOPLE ARE STILL TALKING ABOUT OUR WEDDING ALBUM AND HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS. BILL AND HIS STAFF ARE SO PROFESSIONAL, HELPFUL AND WILLING TO ACCOMODATE YOUR NEEDS AND CONCERNS. To start with, went to bridal show where Classic Tuxedo was there. They convinced us to go with their tuxedos, then guilted us into their photographer Josh Y. Promised us he was "the best in New England". Our package came with a free engagement session, photographer cancelled on us the first time, then second time called us to change the time to be more convenient for them (no joke). Wed. before our wedding he called to confirm everything. Saturday 2:30 came and the photographers never showed, at 3:00 we called him and he was an 1hr 1/2 away and said the contract was for Sunday. We ran around finding a new photographer outside of Classic photographers. Next day I pulled out our contract and it said Saturday. Only pro about them, I had a refund within days. Un-professional, irresponsible, and rude!!

If I could give a 10 on everything I would! Our photographer with Classic Photograpgy was Faby. She was totally on point- from our engagment session right up until the final dance. She listened to what we wanted and took it very seriously. On the day of the wedding she knew exactly what to do and where to be to capture all the key moments without being intrusive. I had at least 3 guests at the reception comment on this as well. The pics were up in less than two weeks and I am thrilled with the quality. From an adminstrative point as well- Jeremiah was super responsive and easy to work with. I HIGHLY reccommend Classic and especially Faby!

I would highly recommend Classic photography. The mananger, Jeremiah, was always quick with responding to emails and returning phone calls. Amos Terry did a fantastic job shooting our wedding and he was highly professional. Our album came out beautiful and I know we will treasure it for years to come. thanks to classic photography for a great job with capturing our wedding!

My husband and I used Classic Photographers for our September 2011 wedding. I cannot say enough good things about them! Our photographers (Andrew & his wife) were amazing! They were on time, dressed extremely professionally, took the time to answer any questions we had. I honestly can say I did not even notice they were there during the ceremony or reception. They were not intrusive and didnt pull us away from the fun to snapped posed pictures all night. Andrew and his wife made a great team and thought up all types of cute ideas for pictures to take. Even after he snapped a few, he would come over and show me with his camera the shot that he just took. He just made me so excited about taking the pictures! I would reccommend them to any couple looking to hire a photographer for their wedding!

Nick Haley was always very helpful and quick to return emails. I loved Amy Mills as my photographer. She was always on time and loved taking pictures wherever you wanted.

My husband and I are over-the-moon pleased with Classic Photographers. Our photographer, Andrew S., captured so many amazing moments from our day and we are in love with our photos. As a business, Classic Photographers has been nothing but professional & honest. They have made sure that all of our requests were fulfilled in a timely manner and have provided us with information as it was requested. As a bride, I would strongly recommend Classic Photographers, because when you have amazing vendors and you get to marry the person you love, your day will always be perfect. Classic Photographers started out great at the beginning, until you sign the contract. They sent me worksheets to fill out about information for the wedding, which was nice if they used them! Half the pictures I wanted weren't taken. They didnt take ANY pictures of my husband with his family!!!! I was so mad and when confronted about it they gave me excuses about how sometimes they cant always get the shots depending on whats going on. I'm very lucky that my father-in-law's girlfriend took pictures of my husband amd his family so we did get some. For the price they charge you want the most important pictures. Pictures of the groom with his family are pretty standard pictures I think. They never reimbursed me or gave me a credit for a free product. The photographer that came was nice but the company was a joke....

There are several aspects of Classic Photographers that need reviews. 1 - the company itself (who basically "manages" a bunch of photographers): they were mildly responsive and I was overall satisfied with their service of matching us with a photographer. They should offer an all day package that isn't outrageous. 2 - The actual Photographer, Joe King: although we have not gotten our photos back yet, his work at our engagement session was great. He was good at giving direction to us and very flexible. 3 - the assistant: worst individual that was apparently available for us. She drank beers during the time that the groomsmen were getting ready; she must have kept drinking because she put down her camera at our reception and was dancing around with our guests. Very unprofessional!

I was not overally thrilled with the quality or type of shots taken during the reception. Also, the formal shots were okay. There were a lot where there was not a good picture of everyone at once. Jill M. was a good photographer and was very personable and we really enjoyed working with her.

We were disappointed that there was not one portrait full length of the bride and groom. The photographers were nice an took many pictures, but no full length portrait. Also it took a LONG time to get our book.

Good value for the money. Appreciate having 2 photographers. Wide variety of package options. Pictures and album turned out beautiful. Love having a CD with all my photos to reprint at my convenience. At times communication was poor. Had to seek them out and do a lot of follow up. Photographer was late for our engagement sitting.

We used Classic Photographers for our Wedding on 9/3/2010 and they did an awesome job! They came to the house where I got ready with the girls and they met my husband and the guys where the wedding was going to be held to take before pictures of them. The night was rainy but they made the best out of it and we couldnt have asked for anything more. Thank you Jayme A!

Calssic Photographers were fantastic!! They werd very accomodating and patient!! They allowed us to modify one of their packages to fit our individual needs which made the whole process so much easier and exciting instead of stressful!! The pictures came out amazing and our album is supreme!!! Thank you Classic Photographers for a job MORE than well done!!!
