Dana Lavertu DJ Entertainment

For our wedding, we worked with Bob Potts. Bob was exceptionally professional and was always willing to stick his neck out in the event we needed something. We hadn't planned a ceremony music selection and Bob picked something which worked perfectly. Bob has a great radio voice and we only hope he enjoyed himself at the wedding. We also have to say working with Dana Lavertu was a great experience. Based on the initial consultation with him and our wedding plans, Dana was able to recommend Bob.

We worked with Dana. Everything was great and he was very flexible with what I wanted for the ceremony music and at the reception. The only thing was that when annoucing the wedding party he did make a few mistakes with the order and pronouncing the names. We also gave him a list of "do not play songs" and he did play some from that list which was disappointing. The only other thing was the attire. I wasn't to excited about the gold/black tux. Most importantly is that there was great music played, he was very flexible and did have a great personality.

After a small snafu, I had a great experience with Dana Lavertu. Dana himself was my DJ, originally I planned to work with someone else and there was a mix up with his scheduled. Had I not called to follow up I may have been without a DJ at a month out! Recommend to keep on top of your contract so you do not run into this. Quality service, responsive to requests and the Do not play list etc. Professional dress, arrived in plenty of time to set up before the ceremony. Great online system for you to select songs in advance.

We had Scott Rappaport (from this company) as our DJ, and he did a great job. He was there at the reception venue before 12 setting up, even though our wedding didn't start until 7pm. We had provided a list of songs that we requested as 'priority' songs, and I'm not sure that he actually played all of them, though it's possible that he did before we got into the room. He also didn't play the 'grand entrance music' as he was introducing everyone, he only played it very softly after he had introduced my new husband and I. We hadn't asked what the procudure for that was, but it wasn't what I was expecting. We also hadn't heard from him for a couple of months (via e-mail) until two days before the wedding when we had to call the main office to ask if he was still around. Admittedly, that made us a bit nervous, but when we did call, we spoke with Dana Lavertu directly, and he was very helpful. Overall, it was a good experience, and he set the tone well for our mostly-family reception.

Dana was our DJ and announcer he did a fantastic job. My husband and I were unsure of how to procede with the reception and he gave us many ideas and let us add what we thought was right for us. His playlist was extensive and any songs he did not have he found for us. He did a great job of keeping our wedding on track and schedual with all that we wanted to do like gathering everyone for important events like the bouquet toss and cake cutting ect. Everyone had a great time and complimented us on the great music throughout the evening. We would definately recomend him to any couple getting married.
