Janet was a pleasure to work with. She cheerfully put up with my seemingly gazillion changes and in the end helped make our wedding beautiful with her decor and flowers.

Janet Black did the flowers for my Labor Day Weekend wedding. She is extremely creative, and all the little touches were OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!! My wedding was on a farm and she added very elegant and rustic flair exactly how I imagined. When I look back on the pictures of the wedding I am blown away with her talent and her attention to detail. She is friendly, organized and very talented.

Janet was the best florist I could have ever asked for. Janet was not just a florist, she was a designer. Janet helped me piece together the most beautiful wedding. She is amazing at what she does, I didn't need to worry about a thing, because I knew she could handle everything and more! She took so much off of me and my husbands hands, we cannot thank her enough for the amazing decor at our wedding that she put together for us! Thank you, Janet!!!

I had the pleasure of working with Janet from Designs. She has an amazing eye and attention to detail. She took my very scattered thoughts and turned them into the most stunning wedding flowers I have ever seen! Everything was absolutely perfect!

I worked with Janet Black for my 8/21/10 wedding and she is just amazing. We were planning our wedding from out of state and Janet was so easy to work with and made me feel that everything was under control all the time! Her responsiveness was amazing as she returned emails very quickly. I emailed her pictures of what I wanted the flowers to look like and she came up with some great ideas that were in my budget. She is very budget conscious and that made me feel even more at ease. The flowers were beautiful and exactly what we wanted! I would recommend her hands down to any bride and groom, and I plan to use her when we are back in the area for other events!!!

If you are getting married in the Bethel/Western Maine Mountains area, you MUST work with Janet and her team.From the first time I called her, Janet was professional, courteous, helpful -- and creative! I know little about flowers, and Janet really helped me articulate my vision for my bouquet, centerpieces, etc. She found lovely flowers in season to match my colors and magically, it seemed, crafted a sample bouquet for me right there on the spot at our first meeting. She knew just what I was looking for, even though I couldn't describe it myself.Everything went just as planned for the wedding, the deliveries, quality, preparation of the flowers were perfect. I got so many compliments on the flowers from our guests. And I felt that for what I paid, I received incredibly good value. Someone you trust like Janet -- you can't put a price on that!And one of the best surprises was how LONG the flowers lasted after the wedding! Weeks went by and they just looked so fresh. Seeing those lovely flowers kept our memories of our special day fresh for much longer than we expected.Janet runs a successful florist business and is a leader in her industry for a reason (she is the Maine representative for a national association of creative florists). The reason is, she is very, very good at what she does, and she has great people skills to match, which are probably essential when you're working with brides to be. Again, I can't say enough good things about Designs!

Designs was great to work with and one of the things that we really liked is even though we know nothing about flowers, they helped us picked the less expensive options that would still provide the look we were after. It was very nice to work with someone for a wedding and not to have them upsell you constantly.Our wedding was supposed to be outside, but it ended up raining and the Designs team changed all the decorations to our new ceremony very quickly and without us having to worry about what was going on. They even ran down to their shop and got some stands that weren't part of the original plan. It was great!The reception was beautiful too! I don't think I gave much direction on what it should look like and the tables and centerpieces looked amazing. The flowers were beautiful and exactly what I wanted. We even had a hard color (dark blue) and they found the perfect flowers and vases.I would definitely recommend them to anyone getting married in the area.

Designs provided the bouquet, boutonniere and cake topper for our small wedding at The Bethel Inn. I can't say enough about the flowers. They were exquisite. All I had to do was provide a picture of a bouquet I had liked, and I got exactly what I wanted. The colors and flowers were perfect.

Janet was such a blessing for my wedding. She listened to my ideas and dreams for the look and style and then came up with flowers, decorations, and specifics to make it happen. She also acted as my wedding coordinator and was so organized with the vendor information and time-lines that I felt totally confidant that things would go smoothly. She was very flexible about providing various rentals as I needed them and was happy to work with any decorations or rentals that I personally provided.The day of the wedding, she was there making sure everything went perfectly. Not only were the flowers and decorations absolutely stunning (and exactly what I was imagining), but everything went so smoothly that I didn't have to worry about a thing. She made sure the various vendors were where they needed to be at the right time and set up to do what they needed to do. The day was beautiful and perfect thanks in very large part to her efforts, and I could just focus on being with my family and enjoying the day. I would recommend her highly for any special event.

We met Janet while planning our out of town wedding. She had a lot of great ideas and listened to my thoughts and ideas. Renee took over the rest of the planning process after the initial meeting and she was wonderful. We had a to make a lot of changes throughout the ordering an arranging process but everything looked beautifull that day. They will allow you to get things on your own.... ie: ribbon, vases, urns at a lesser price for you. Renee was very aware of the details and made suggestions that she thought may work better. Designs was professional, affordable, and most importantly dependable.

Janet made all of the bouquets and corsages for the wedding party and family. She was so creative with the flowers she recommended. I had a picture from a magazine of a bouquet that I liked and she put her own creative touch on it and also created a wonderful bridesmaid bouquet. She is so professional and amazing with her designs. I strongly recommend her.
