"I Do Spas" - Thank you so much for making my wedding day a great success! I have to be honest, I was a little worried not knowing how you would be able to schedule hair, makeup, manicures and pedicures for all of my 10 guest, but it went very smoothly. Everyone really enjoyed themselves, and all 5 of the artist where knowledgeable, professional, and really nice people. You can tell that everyone loves what they do. I would refer you to any bridal party and all my friends. Thanks again - Wendy

As a recent client of I Do Spas, Maine's traveling beauty, I would like to share with other readers what a wonderful/professional expierience we had with this business. They were timely, respectful and completely professional at all times. They provided services for our large group of 20. These women provided fabulous nail treatments and our hair and makeup where just what we asked for. Some of my girls didn't know what they wanted and the stylists helped them and they just loved how they came out. My mom, new mother inlaw and their sisters just wanted a style with their short hair and they loved getting pampered and being a part of everything. I just wanted a natural look for my makeup and it was perfect, but some of my girls wanted the "WOW" factor and I Do Spas was able to do both with no problems.I was so excited that this business was available for us, not living in Maine I wasn't sure what I was going to do for such a large group. It is nice to see some ingenuity that creates more jobs and a new way to provide services to the consumer. Thank you Jody for all of your hard work you were by far the most helpful vendure I had. - Lisa

Awsome Professionals I Do Spas came to my bachelorette party as a surprise, offering manicures, pedicures and massages. They were excellent in every aspect, and the day was a completely relaxing and enjoyable experience. Nowhere else could you find such a great group of woman that will travel to you and provide you with these services in such a professional and friendly manner and yet also make sure everyone feels at ease and that the atmosphere is still that of a bachelorette party. We had such a great experience with I Do Spas that we rehired them for beauty services that we needed the day of my wedding. They joined us at the location of the wedding for all 9 women and provide us with all of our hair, makeup and nail needs. Every one of us came out looking beautiful, beyond our greatest expectations and we didn’t have to schedule in the travel time to a hair salon, nor was the price greater than it would have been anywhere else. I would recommend these ladies to any bride, or for any party needs. Jody the owner was very helpful with some last minute changes. Using them for a wedding relieves much stress off of a brides shoulders, and they are a great addition to any party. Respectfully Susan

I emailed I Do Spas and received a response that day, next day a contract was drawn up and I was able to reserve stylist and make up artist for my 12 girls and while we where getting services we also received massages, manicures, and pedicures. I loved my hotel room and having all my girls with me all morning being pampered. A few mamosas and snacks and a few hours later we all where ready for my big day. I choose not to do a trail run for hair and make up because of their large portfolio they have on facebook. I would recomend them to any bride and bridal party.

I Do Spas was a pleasure to work with! We had 35 services done on our wedding day that ranged from hair to nails to makeup. The updos were gorgeous. They women that had their hair done really loved their finished results. Our makeup artist was phenomenal. She listened to feedback and if you wanted something different, she was more than happy to make changes. What was best about this company was the convenience. Our wedding location was remote and it would have taken way more time and effort to travel into a town and coordinate services. This was easy, fun and convenient! We were able to add last minute services without problem. Jody is wonderful to work with!! This is definitely something all brides should look in to!

First of all, in the end I was happy with both my hair and makeup and the stylist who came were great - but getting there was not pleasant so I can not recommend this vendor.I booked hair/makeup for 7 of us plus a hair trial for myself. The week before the wedding Jody (the owner) contacted me saying that my stylist was unable to attend the event. Since I had spent $80 on a hair trial, I was upset that I was not getting this stylist and asked for a refund of the $80. I was told that the only way I could get a refund was to cancel the entire event! I instead asked for a hair trial from the new stylist and I received no response. The day of the event, 2 stylists showed up when we had agreed to 3 stylist. I had even confirmed the number of stylists with Jody during the contract process and have reviewed what we agreed. Jody was unavailable when I called her that morning and 5 days later she still has not returned a call to apologize for sending the wrong number of stylists. There is plenty of stress in planning a wedding and especially on the day of the wedding to have such unprofessional and unresponsive vendors.

Working with I Do Spas was anything but pleasant and I would not recommend them to anyone who wants to look good or relax on their wedding day. UNRELIABLE. After booking six months in advance and sending full deposits the services we booked, we received an unprofessional email two weeks prior to the wedding to my mother’s email account, saying the manicurist was not going to be able to make it because she had to pick up her son from camp that day. My mom wrote back and after much pleading, Jody finally found a replacement. Only problem was, my wedding was the first day she ever worked for I Do Spas, and I’d argue, the first time she’d ever done a manicure!SUB-PAR SERVICES. I Do Spas is NOT cheap. Based on these prices, my mother and I thought at least we would be getting a decent product. Unfortunately, they did not deliver. We wanted hair, makeup, and manicures for five women. They arrived several hours before the wedding. The substitute manicurist began the manicures on one of my bridesmaids and after an entire hour, she still had not finished. This put us behind schedule. I wanted a french manicure, but after 20 minutes of attempting to draw a straight line across one of my nails and continually messing up, for time’s sake, I had to ask her to remove the botched manicure and do a solid color. I’ve never seen someone paint so slowly in my life. Our nail polish was applied so thickly that before we left the house, everyone in the wedding party removed their manicures to avoid ruining our dresses. Glad we spent $30/per person for an extra chore. Everyone hated their hair and makeup little attention was paid to what we actually requested. It seemed like they had one cookie-cutter look for everyone. UNPROFESSIONAL. Jody, the woman who cancelled the manicures, wrote a three sentence email to my mother explaining that she could not do our manicures and then promptly reminded us that the rest of our payment was due in a week. Additionally, the makeup artist (if you could call her that?) was done much earlier than everyone else and was sitting around doing nothing and my husband-to-be was suffering from a horrible rash under his eye. We asked the make up woman to go to apply make-up on the groom, who was staying 100 yards away from us. She agreed and was back within 10 minutes. A week after the wedding, my mom received a bill from I Do Spas for an additional manicure, hair do, and make up application, totaling $130. The makeup under my groom’s eye cost us $40! We’re not quite sure where the extra manicure came from, but my mother in law wanted her hair “fluffed” and it took 5 minutes and the girls agreed-- never mentioning it was going to be extra, and then went home to complain to their boss who billed us. Either refuse services, or explain costs up front. It added insult to injury after hating the services provided to have to go back and pay more. My family believes in honoring the contracts we make so we paid every cent they charged us and even tipped the girls despite our disappointment. I also wanted to mention that they have no idea how to estimate time. We were down to the wire the entire time and that was because Jody talked my mom out of our initial start time. Please, do yourself a favor and avoid I Do Spas. They do not deliver in convenience or services and will nickel and dime you at every turn.

I was not impressed with I Do Spa at all. I had a hair trial in Aug and it came out great. We took pictures and was very excited and confident in what I was going to get on the wedding day. Then the wedding day came and the hairstylist appeared to be sooo nervous. My hair turned out nothing like the trial and we even had a picture of it! I had to have it fixed to even hide the hair tie! My bridesmaids even had to hide some of the booby pins that were showing. When I e-mailed this to the owner she wanted me to send her pictures of the before and after. I'm sorry but I wasn't thinking about taking pictures of the "bad" hair on my wedding day! Then their was the make-up! I had specifically called and asked if they use bare minerals make-up before I booked them and they told me yes. Then the day of the wedding the make-up artist didn't show up with any and when my mom asked she told her that she doesn't really use that product and didn't have enough of it to bring. Another thing, she has colored in my eyebrows to what I thought was too dark and when I asked her to fix it to make it a little lighter she gave me such attitude, that after she left I had a bridesmaid fix my make-up. I would not recommend their services.
