Cyndi was very professional, very accommodating, and really just an absolute pleasure to have do my makeup. She listened to what I wanted, and delivered it. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to a bride - she did a fabulous job for me and my mom and my MOH. And I think her prices are reasonable too. All in all, an excellent experience.

Cyndi was excellent to work with! She does beautiful makeup that is appropriate for a day outdoor wedding - not too heavy but radiant and long lasting! My maids and I were all very happy. She was responsive and very reasonably priced, and it was great having her on location so that we could be getting dressed and taking pictures right away. I very highly recommend Cyndi, especially for day outdoor weddings like ours - she has been working with Maine brides and knows how to keep you looking fresh and natural for photos! Thank Cyndi!

I found Cyndi online and I'm so glad I did. I wanted to have a stress-free wedding day, where someone could come to my cousin's cottage to do all the girls' makeup - me, my bridesmaids and my mother. I didn't know such a service existed in Maine, or how skilled that person might be. So thank goodness for Cyndi! I love the beautiful, natural look she gave all of us - it's exactly what I was hoping for. I'm especially fair skinned, and was concerned that I would look "overdone". If you have similar concerns, definitely take Cyndi up on her offer to do a trial run before the wedding. It's worth it, for piece of mind's sake. I found Cyndi online, as I was planning a wedding in Maine from Hong Kong, and I wasn't sure what to expect. Cyndi arrived on site, set up quickly, and really adjusted the makeup to suit each person. Not being used to wearing a lot of makeup, Cyndi was really great about giving advice and making the makeup look natural and camera-ready. During the wedding planning stage, Cyndi also suggested great hair stylists who travel on site. She was a dream to work with and I couldn't be more pleased. Highly highly recommended.

Cyndi was great from start to finish. She went out of her way on her vacation to do my wedding makeup in York, ME and was so accommodating to all of my bridesmaids. Her makeup skills are phenomenal and we all looked elegant and classy. Her work emphasized every great feature on each of our faces. If you don't hire Cyndi Clayton then you're missing out on the only opportunity you will have to look perfect on your wedding day.

Cyndi was fantastic. As an experienced professional who is quite lovely and sweet, her talented skills added to our wonderful day. It was great having her on site and was so flexible with our crazy schedule. And we all felt beautiful after she applied the make up. Absolutely a must for brides who are seeking the natural look. From our 16 year old neice to my 70 year old mom, all was awesome. Seriously, she is someone you can have total trust in.

Cyndi was wonderful to work with. I was a little nervous because I was not able to have a make up trial, but that was completely unfounded. She arrived promptly at our hotel and was so friendly and nice to talk with. I asked for a natural look, and Cyndi nailed it. The rest of the those who had their make up done were also very happy. From the photographs some family took, the make up looked beautiful til the end of the night!

Cyndi did a beautiful job and we all looked like ourselves, but better. The make up was very natural and she was very responsive to requests (my mother in law wanted to use her own products and has sensitive eyes was so very hesitant - Cyndi made her look beautiful with her own makeup and she had no problem with her eyes all night). The only bad thing was I decided to drive to her place to do the trial, but didn't really realize how far away it was from Kennebunkport (about 2 hours!) so make sure you have budgeted that time, or just pay for her to travel to you - it's probably worth it! She also was a very relaxed presence as we were getting ready, and definitely was good at talking to everyone and making everyone feel comfortable, which was really nice.

Mary made me look and feel like a princess on my wedding day! I have never felt more beautiful than I did that day and i owe it all to Mary! The make up she used felt like nothing at all and stayed with me the whole day/night! Thanks for making me feel like I did on my big day Mary, you are the best!!

From This Day Forward are fabulous make up artists, but not only do they apply make up they do an analysis on your skin tone to really figure out and hone in on what your skin is saying. I learned a ton about my skin. My face looked better than it ever has and Cyndi even helped me cover up the red dots I had on my arms for my strapless gown. In just a few hours she did my makeup, my mom's and 3 of my bridesmaids. It was so apparent who didn't have their make up done, because all of the women who did had glowing, even toned skin. The make up pre-trial was fabulous, but then the day of my wedding I saw one of my bridesmaids smokey eyes and just had to have the look. Cyndi was completely flexible and matched the smokiness, but used the colors we had chosen. I was so happy with it!
