As soon as we met with Greg Young of Northeast DJs we knew we had to book him for our wedding. Greg is extremely organized, professional, experienced and just a really great guy. When I emailed him with questions throughout the year of planning, he usually responded immediately. He worked with us every step of the way regarding what type of music we wanted and didn’t want. He guided us through selecting the order of events at our reception and was totally accepting of a couple non-traditional dances we wanted to do. Northeast DJs didn’t only provide us with exceptional DJ services; we also got uplighting around the room, a personalized monogram, two large TVs which showed family photos and music videos throughout the evening. It completely transformed the banquet hall. We have received so many complements about Greg’s enthusiasm as an MC and the music had majority of our guests out on the dance floor for the entire evening. Friends and family have commented how beautiful the lighting, the monogram, and the TV slideshows were. We were lucky to have both Greg and Dan at our reception. Dan is also a really great guy and you can be confidant that whether you have Greg or Dan as a DJ for your reception, you’ll be in good hands and it’s one less thing you have to stress about.

Greg Young was absolutely awesome to work with. We were comfortable with him from day 1. He was helpful with suggestions and guidance throught the whole process while creatively incorporating our song selections. He also provided the uplighting and Monogram which made the room stunning. I would definitely recommend Greg and Northeast DJ's for any occassion! A class act!

Greg from Northeast DJs did an amazing job with our Maine island wedding. He went above and beyond from camping at the reception site (we'll see if he ever offers to do that again ;)) to timing music with the shooting of a canon. His attention to detail when it came to our song list and timeline was just perfect. We would definitely recommend them to anyone else who is planning a wedding in Maine. A lot of DJs in Maine are older and on the slightly "cheesy" side. We chose Greg and Northeast DJs because they were fresh and flexible. Thanks, guys!

Greg totally rocks! I’ve never met anyone like him and you'd be crazy no to hire Northeast DJs. Rick and I began planning 2 years prior to our wedding and Northeast DJs was one of the first vendors we knew we had to hire! One of the best decisions we made. We had gone to so many bridal shows and talked to so many djs and I'm sorry to say but they were mostly cheesy and they all offered the same old "stuff" everyone else was offering. From the moment we started talking to Greg at a bridal show I knew he was different and exactly what we had been looking for. Yes we did some traditional things at our wedding but we were very open to new ideas and wanted something fun and out of the ordinary and every time we asked Greg for suggestions he nailed it out of the park. He got a feel very quickly for what we were looking for. He went out of his way to meet with us any where, any time, any temperature, and to top it all off he was super nice and so easy to get a hold of every time we needed him. One of the most responsive vendors I dealt with. We received so many compliments on Greg and his lighting throughout the event. He seemed to work very well with the other vendors as well which is also important. We never got a chance to work with Dan, but spoke to him at a couple of different events and he was just as awesome! You can't go wrong with these guys! They will help make your wedding unforgettable. I look forward to seeing them at other venues when given the chance just to rock out and dance!

Northeast DJs did an AMAZING job with our reception on 9/4/11. DJ Danny kept the party moving and got everyone dancing from our college friends to our aunts and uncles! After the wedding, all of our guests kept raving about our DJ and how he had the best playlist they had heard. He was professional and always available to us from the time we booked him through the end of our contract with him. We would highly recommend Northeast DJs to anyone looking for a DJ in Maine!

Greg was recommended to us by the general manager at the wedding venue we booked and I'm happy to recommend him here. From our first meeting with Greg he was extremely well prepared and professional. He knew all the questions to ask that we hadn't even considered and he helped us think through our plan for the day. Since we live away from Maine, Greg worked with us by email and phone without any hiccups as we prepared everything. On our wedding day Greg set up equipment in three separate locations (ceremony, dining room, and reception hall). He also provided equipment for my brother-in-law who played his guitar during the ceremony. Everything worked great. Throughout the event we only heard Greg on a few occasions when he was needed to make an announcement. Otherwise, he just played the music. This was refreshing since I've seen other DJs who talk a lot between songs and try to steal the show. At the reception Greg did a fantastic job of gauging the attitude of the crowd and kept the energy up when he saw that almost everyone wanted to dance and party. After the wedding we had dozens of guests comment on how awesome the DJ was. Many even commented that Greg was the best wedding DJ they'd ever seen. We agree. The best decision we made for our wedding was hiring Northeast DJs. The music, lights, and overall presentation was amazing, not to mention the photo booth which made a huge hit. Northeast DJs are more than just DJs - they are entertainment. The energy and passion Dan brings to his profession are unmatchable. On a day so important, yet so hectic, Dan was there to orchestrate the entire wedding. He has an instinct that can’t be taught. He knows how and when to get things done, always with a smile on his face, and never crossing boundaries. I honestly think the day would have been chaotic if it weren’t for DJ Danny D. Oh yeah, I can’t forget the wedding party introductions! Thank you Dan for making my sports theme idea come to life!

Greg Young from Northeast DJ's did a phenonenal job at our wedding on 8-19-2011! He is very professional, listens to what you want and provides great entertainment and lights. From the first time I emailed Greg Young of Northeast DJs to the last song played at our wedding reception, Greg was the best DJ I've ever come across. It took my husband and I a long time to decide on whether to use a band or DJ for our wedding - particurly since we'd heard such horror stories when it came to DJs in particular. But Greg put our mind at ease. He was very professional, reasonably priced, and made some very good suggestions as far as our reception timeline went. My husband and I also listen to a lot of music that you don't hear a lot on the radio, and Greg was able to accomodate several of our song requests (and stuck to our "do not play" list as well). We also liked the freedom of being able to log into Northeast DJs' website and make a play request list in the months leading up to the wedding. That gave us plenty of time to think about our special song requests in particular. Finally, on the day of the wedding, Greg was nothing but professional (several of our guests commented on this) and played master of ceremonies beautifully. Everyone had a great time -- we had guests on the dance flloor age 2 through 72! We'd definitely use Northeast DJs again.

I am so happy with our choice to have Northeast DJ's at our July 16th wedding reception at Sebasco Harbor Resort. Danny did an amazing job staying in touch and getting us ready pre-wedding, as we were planning from Chicago. He was more than professional and we really felt we could trust him.. At the reception the dance floor was packed the ENTIRE NIGHT! Danny read the crowd well and everyone was having a great time. I have received multiple compliments from people saying it was the most fun they have ever had at a reception. No one wanted the reception to end. I cannot say one bad thing about Northeast DJ's!! I would hire them again given the choice. Thank you for making our reception a huge success!!

Greg was the DJ at our wedding this summer and I would highly recommend Northeast DJs to any prospective wedding clients looking for an excellent DJ in Maine. We were extremely lucky to find Northeast DJs and they even made the trek up to Northeast Harbor, Maine for our wedding at the Asticou Inn. From the interview to the planning process to the day itself, Greg was extremely professional and responsive to our needs as a couple. He always checked in to make sure that we had what we needed. We had a funky setup where he had to do our wedding party introductions without his main mixer and speakers but Greg rolled with the punches and delivered. All of our guests commented on how much they liked our DJ and we did too! Just give them a call to talk to them for an initial interview - I'm sure they'll win you over as much as they did us.Think about it this way: How often do you have a husband going on a wedding website to recommend a vendor? Greg at Northeast DJ’s was absolutely great and totally exceeded our expectations (which were very high to start). Let me just say this to start – one of our guests was a DJ from out of town and, after the wedding, he told us our DJ was phenomenal and that his lighting was awesome. In fact, he was so impressed that he’s considering trying to copy some of the lighting Northeast DJ’s provided. We met with him a few times throughout the planning phase of the project and he was always very attentive and accommodating. He took notes, asked questions, and was genuinely interested in making sure the music and lighting at our event was just as we wanted it. We really liked that he was willing to play whatever types of music we wanted, but wasn’t afraid to provide helpful suggestions along the way based on his experience. We’re big 80’s buffs so we asked for reception music that was a mix of 80’s and today even though we weren’t sure how the songs would blend together. We were very impressed at how seamlessly and subtly he was able to mix the songs together without any awkward pauses or transitions. The cocktail hour and dinner music was great too – exactly what we had asked for. We were especially blown away with his lighting system. The up lighting looked great and mixed perfectly with the lighting provided by our venue. However, what really blew us away was the dance floor lighting and the spotlighting he provided during introductions. Seriously – it was like being on stage of a rock show. During introductions he had spotlights scanning the crowd that would automatically focus on the doorway as each group from the bridal party was introduced. It was absolutely amazing. Greg was even kind enough to make a recording of the highlights of our reception and uploaded it online for us. Yes, his prices may be more than his competition, but you definitely get what you pay for. He had our guests dancing all night and we received many compliments on the music and lighting. The other day my wife and I were trying to envision what our reception would have been like had we hired one of the other DJ’s we met with. Dan was really amazing. He sat down with us and talked us through the reception step by step, to make sure that he included everything we wanted and that the reception really reflected us. I trusted his choice with nearly all of the music, and I'm glad I did. He was a great master of ceremonies and DJ. In fact, I received letters from friends and family commenting on how great our DJ was! I would highly recommend Northeast DJs!

We were thrilled with our decision to have Northeast DJ's at our wedding in Boothbay Harbor, ME on June 26th. We had the pleasure of working with Danny DeBruin and he was nothing short of absolutely professional and fantastic to work with. Right from the very beginning of the planning process to the day before when we had a change in the song we did for our "first dance" his flexibility made us feel right at ease and I knew he was on top of things all along. Danny did a great job of getting the guests out on the dance floor and everyone had an awesome time. When we first started planning our wedding, we were very nervous about the entertainment portion of our reception. We had no idea what we wanted because our taste is so wide and deep when it comes to music. Greg did an amazing job figuring out what we liked, and was able to research to find ways to throw "touches of us" throughout the night. I still have guests talking to me about how awesome the music was that night. I could not agree more! Greg was very easy to work with went with the flow. He made us feel very at ease with what we thought was going to be a very tough part of the planning process. I would DEFINITELY suggest this company to anyone who needs a DJ. They are so amazing!

Northeast DJs provided the DJ services and uplighting for our June 2011 wedding. DJ Greg was fabulous to work with. During the planning he was very easy to get in contact with and frequently checked in with us. Everything was very organized which made things easier. The day of the wedding the set up was pnenominal and Greg did an excellent job at playing just the right music to keep the dance floor full. We would defintely recommend Northeast DJs to anybody looking to have a reception that their guests will remember forever!

DJ Danny is very professional and will get back to you quickly. We weren't interested in any of the lighting extras and he didn't push any of that on us. In terms of his music choices, he sticks to generic stuff. Of course he has you fill out a do not play list and must play list, but his online tool isn't the most user-friendly. I think his services were pretty straightforward, which isn't a bad thing. He managed to get us dancing! I think he knows current pop music most, which is not our style.

Northeast DJ's was the most professional and in-depth DJ service I have ever encountered. The service that they provide went above and beyond our expectations. They were able to provide more than just the music for our wedding but they also offered personalized light shows and added effects. The DJ's themselves were very professional and easy going and were willing to work with us on everything. They played exactly what we wanted to have played as well as made sure nothing we didn't want to be played got played. They made the planning process incredibly easy by providing a list of music to choose from. I would not have had another DJ service to do my wedding; they certainly helped to make it the most amazing day of my life!!

DJ Dan did an AMAZING job at our wedding in Sept!!! We wanted our music theme to be classic rock and he did just that!! The thing I loved the most was that we were able to go online and have our guest go online and create a playlist. He did our ceremony and reception, each song flowed into the next and he didn't talk when there was no need. He was very professional asking for our opinion and working with the photographer so they were on the same page. Our photographer knew where to be to get the best shot! I'd recommand NorthEast DJ's to anyone!!

Northeast DJs did an amazing job at our wedding on August 7, 2010. DJ Greg Young performed services for both the ceremony and reception. Their website was very easy to navigate and the online planner was a great help. He had some wonderful suggestions for songs when we were stuck in coming up with different ideas. He met with us on a couple of occasions and was always assessable. At the wedding he was incredibly professional. He was able to manipulate songs to our liking, especially for the ceremony. Greg was very flexible and was able to switch things up under short notice. He also had a wide array of music and had any song that we could have wanted. I really enjoyed that he was in the same age range as us, had the same music taste and understands the type of music that is out there today!I would recommend Northeast DJs and Greg Young to any bride getting married, and I already have a friend using them! They are the new generation of DJs who go above and beyond the call of duty! Hire them for your wedding or event!
